ATLANTA (AP) — Michael Harris II hit a three-run homer, rookie Hurston Waldrep threw six sturdy innings and the Atlanta Braves beat the Miami Marlins 7-1 Saturday within the first recreation of a doubleheader that featured some Main League Baseball historical past.
Jen Pawol grew to become the primary feminine umpire in a Main League recreation, working first base. She is scheduled to be at third base within the second recreation of the doubleheader and behind residence plate within the sequence finale Sunday.
