Palm Seashore colleges search exemption from later begin instances

WEST PALM BEACH — The Palm Seashore County faculty district is pushing again towards a brand new Florida legislation that may require later begin instances for center and highschool college students, a transfer that retains sparking debate statewide.

The Florida legislation requires that by July 2026, excessive colleges can’t begin sooner than 8:30 a.m. and center colleges can’t begin sooner than 8 a.m.

In a unanimous vote Wednesday night time, Palm Seashore County College Board members accepted an inventory of legislative priorities, together with asking the state Legislature for an exemption to Home Invoice 733, which pushes again the center and highschool begin instances.
